In controlled applications our DSC tips have provided up to 5X the life of a standard DHP contact tip.
For many years, deoxidized phosphorus copper (DHP) was the preferred alloy for contact tips because of its low cost and availability - it is still in widespread use today. However, for more demanding applications requiring high wear characteristics and resistance to softening, other alloys can give a superior performance and are better suited for the most rigorous arc welding conditions.

Dispersion strengthened copper (DSC) tips are unsurpassed in quality and reliability. DSC tips will maintain their hardness at the highest temperatures and are extremely durable.

Z-Trode

Código: Z-Trode - Luvata
Valorado con 0 de 5

Actualizado: 2024-01-04

Z-Trode® is the ideal cap electrode for resistance welding of light-to-medium gauge coated and uncoated steels and aluminum alloys.

Z-Trode is the electrode of choice for customers looking to reduce spatter in welding. It is the zirconium copper welding electrode cap that outperforms conventional electrodes.

Advantages:

Prevents sticking
Resists mushrooming
Requires less energy
Reduces downtime

Nitrode

Código: Nitrode - Luvata
Valorado con 0 de 5

Actualizado: 2024-01-04

The Nitrode® cap is a cold-formed alloy of dispersion strengthened copper with aluminum oxide.

Nitrode demonstrates superior weld performance on a variety of steels. It resists mushrooming on the contact surface, allowing more welds before tip dressing, heat stepping or tip change.

No other cap electrode can match Nitrode for its cost-effective, high quality performance in resistance-welding applications.

Nitrode consistently outperforms copper chrome and copper chrome zirconium electrodes by resisting annealing.

Advantages

Longer weld life
Non-stick
Reduces energy requirements
Works on all steels
Lowers manufacturing costs

H-Trode

Código: H-Trode - Luvata
Valorado con 0 de 5

Actualizado: 2024-01-04

H-Trode® - the ideal cap electrode for resistance welding of 5000, 6000 and 7000 grade aluminum components.

The combination of advanced copper metallurgy and our cold-forming technology gives you an electrode that outperforms conventional electrodes when welding aluminum.

H-Trode\'s superior conductivity means that the maximum electrical resistance in an assembly is clearly between the aluminum sheets. This reduces the heat generated between the sheets and electrode, which in turn reduces sticking.

Benefits:

Compatible with conventional spot welding equipment
Increased productivity
Cost-effective electrode for aluminum welding
High conductivity
Non-stick properties
Compatible with conventional spot welding equipment
Alternative welding solutions have been developed for aluminum, but equipment is expensive, large and more difficult to implement than conventional spot welding. H-Trode electrodes enable stable spot welding of aluminum alloys using conventional spot welding equipment.

Increased productivity
Compared with alternative joining methods, spot welding using H-Trode electrodes and standard dressing equipment significantly increases productivity.

Most cost-effective electrode for aluminum welding
H-Trode\'s increased life expectancy, maintenance savgins and consistent quality welds assure you the highest return on your investment for welding aluminum.

Physical properties
All H-Trode electrodes are cold worked and most items are fully cold formed to ensure the maximum hardness. H-Trode has a high-conductivity of minimum 92% IACS.
