The Series 3000 is an Intelligent Pressure and Level Transmitters line with a Flush mounted Capacitive Ceramic sensor. The range adjustment and programming can be done very easily without a test pressure by using 3 push buttons and the display. The display can indicate a number of chosen engineering units. Zero and span are very easy adjustable without test pressure. Besides that a signal damping and a current simulation are adjustable. Principle of OperationThe ORCA Sonar Bed Level transducer emits a high powered acoustic pulse, which is reflected from the interface density selected. The reflected signal is processed using specially developed software algorithms, that eliminate lighter floating densities and stratified layers, allowing measurement of RAS or BED levels. It can be calibrated to measure lighter densities like FLOC or one of the outputs could be used for a CLARITY output, similar to a basic turbidity transmitter measuring solids in suspension. By choosing the correct sonar transducer frequency, the ORCA sonar guarantees the optimized performance when measuring both light and heavy density interfaces.

Principle of OperationTo optimize performance in each interface application under all process environments HAWK has developed a powerful low frequency transducer that penetrates through the suspended solids. It is capable of measuring the sludge bed level at the bottom of a clarifier or the lightest flocculent layer. Optimize performance under all process environments in each interface application. HAWK uses one transducer with a frequency and power level that is applicable to the density of the interface and process conditions expected in the tank. HAWK can guarantee performance for controlling pumps etc, rather than for monitoring purposes only.

Magnetic Level Gauge (MLG)

Principle of OperationBased on the principle of magnetic coupling and buoyancy, the magnetic level gauge provides real-time measurement for level and interface.
HAWK\'s Magnetic Level Gauge (MLG) is connected to a process vessel. Within the chamber is a float containing a 360° magnetic ring. Outside of the chamber is an indicator equipped with a vacuum glass tube, which contains a bicoloured two-face magnetic bargraph. In response to the level movement, the float moves accordingly, forcing the magnetic bargraph to turn and change color. True liquid level is indicated or \"read\" from the corresponding point on the measuring scale.
Sultan Acoustic Wave Level Transmitter – Power over Ethernet (PoE) Series

Principle of OperationThe Sultan PoE 234 emits a high powered Acoustic Wave transmit pulse which is reflected from the surface of the material being measured. The reflected signal is processed using specially developed software to enhance the correct signal and reject false or spurious echoes.
The transmission of high powered Acoustic Waves ensures minimal losses through the environment where the sensor is located. Due to the high powered emitted pulse, any losses have far less effect than would be experienced by traditional ultrasonic devices. More energy is transmitted hence more energy is returned. Advanced receiver circuitry is designed to identify and monitor low level return signals even when noise levels are high. The measured signal is temperature compensated to provide maximum accuracy to the outputs and display.
The Sultan PoE level transmitter is compataible with the HawkEye 365 Online Inventory and Level Monitoring Portal.
